YOGA
Yoga is a spiritual practise. One that is about connection. To yourself and your breathe, but also to the bigger web of life.
In multiple teachings, being present is the key to peace and contentment.
Most of us spend 99% of our lives thinking about the past or future whilst never fully living each present moment. We also grip onto painful experiences in the hope that our tight grasp will somehow stop bad things from happening again. Or we rush through life expecting to finally reach happiness once we overcome that next hurdle, which inevitably is always replaced with something else.
In my teaching I want to help guide you out of your mind and into feeling the sensations that arise in your body with movement. Not to hold them in judgement but to experience them fully, really be human. Sometimes by doing this we allow them to drift through our body and release. sometimes those sensations or patterns stay for a while. But by regularly meeting all parts of ourselves, the dark spaces become less scary. The lighter space feel even brighter and we are getting a chance to live on a deeper, rawer level.
